COFFEE FROM A TAP!? - INTRO TO NITRO BREW

"That looks like beer, it's from a tap and looks like guinness." This is a phrase our baristas have heard many times since we started serving nitro brew at all of our locations. In this post we will be going through a crash course on nitro brew. By the end you will be in the car heading to your Red Owl to give it a try.

THE PROCESS

Cold-brew coffee infused with nitrogen gas is released through a pressurized valve with tiny holes. As high pressure forces the cold brew past a disc, it creates a creamy, stout-like effect.

THE TASTE

Smooth and creamy is the best way to describe the taste. The foam mixing in makes the need for cream obsolete.

THE SERVE

Black straight from the tap with no ice, which ruins the guinness effect nitro drinkers love. Adding some flavor is also a popular option but not necessary.

THE CUSTOMER

Who will like nitro? Anyone that loves cold coffee. The taste and texture appeals to all types of coffee drinkers

In closing nitro brew is a tasty option and is available at your local Red Owl. We highly recommend giving it a try next time you give us a visit.
